Hand Therapy
A hand therapist is an occupational or physical therapist who specializes in rehabilitation of the hand and upper extremity. Hand therapists are extensively trained and educated in this specialty, and many receive advanced certification in hand therapy. The therapists at the HSS Hand and Upper Extremity Therapy Center focus on evaluation and treatment of the hand, wrist, and elbow and have specialized training in hand therapy.
Prosthetics and Orthotics
HSS Prosthetic and Orthotics manages the distribution of everything from simple devices like crutches, knee braces, walking boots to more complicated devices such as bone anchored prostheses and custom scoliosis braces. These services are provided by our contracted vendors on-site and locally near our hospital locations.

Professional Education and Training
Educating and supporting the next generation of musculoskeletal professionals is one of our top priorities. We offer virtual and onsite courses, fellowships, and residencies.
