New York Mets

For more than two decades, HSS physicians and staff have treated the New York Mets. As the Official Hospital of the New York Mets, HSS supports the team with physicians, trainers and performance and rehabilitation professionals who are key decision-makers when it comes to player care. HSS staff manage the medical care for all home games throughout spring training and the regular season to ensure that each player receives individual care for orthopedic injuries.

As part of our partnership with the team, HSS is the presenting partner of the Mets on the Move program, which gives children a fun way to learn about fitness. Through Mets on the Move, the Mets and HSS engage students with a curriculum focused on the human body and proper movement to help reduce the risk of injury. Each participating student receives a pedometer to track their steps for the duration of the program. The more steps they accumulate, the more prizes they win.

HSS is also the naming rights partner of the HSS Mets Academy in the Dominican Republic, so players in the Mets developmental system can access high-quality preventive, educational, performance and consulting services. HSS hosts charitable events at the facility, including equipment donations and educational workshops, making an indelible impact on the community and creating opportunities for local children to play ball.

In addition, HSS is a proud partner of Mets Fantasy Camp and provides clinical coverage for Mets fans as they play alongside their favorite baseball legends.
