Long Island Nets

In 2016, HSS expanded the long-standing partnership with the Brooklyn Nets to become the Official Hospital of the Long Island Nets, the organization’s NBA G League team. HSS oversees all player care for the Long Island Nets through our Uniondale office and works to provide the team with medical access for any orthopedic injuries.

The players on the Long Island Nets roster are not the only athletes to benefit though — HSS is engrained within the team’s community efforts as well. The Long Island Nets Basketball Academy presented by HSS are a series of free monthly clinics that offers youth athletes access to Nets and HSS experts to both learn the game of basketball and reduce their risk of injury. Additionally, HSS and the Long Island Nets host Move Better Camps. The sessions blend education and exercise segments with exclusive opportunities to work with HSS and Long Island Nets personnel.

HSS is also the presenting partner of the Long Island Nets annual local player tryouts for local talent to compete for an invitation to the team’s training camp in October.
