At the top orthopedic hospital in the world, details matter.

In our world, the stakes are always high. That’s why for us, providing the best possible care for our patients extends past the operating room – and into every area of our organization. Our facilities team contributes to our continued success by ensuring we offer our patients and staff a safe, welcoming and sanitary environment. Whether you’re patrolling the halls, changing a lock or cleaning a patient’s room, you’re providing an essential service that helps HSS thrive – so our patients can, too.

Engineers at HSS ensure the systems that keep us running, keep running. From operating power plant equipment, boilers, chillers and pumps to emergency power systems and lighting, engineering at a top-ranked hospital like ours takes skill and dedication. Bring your enthusiasm and expertise, and you’ll have the chance to make a real impact – on our hospital and on the lives of our patients.

Every day, our security officers perform an essential task – making sure our patients, visitors and staff feel safe. Protecting our state-of-the-art facilities can be a big challenge – but it can be a rewarding one, too. At HSS, we’re dedicated to offering the highest quality of care possible which starts the moment anyone walks through our doors. As a member of this vital team, you’ll be responsible for responding to emergencies, as well as performing regular safety patrols and fire watches.

Our mission is straightforward: we want to help our patients get back to what they need and love to do. To do that, we need a talented team with various specialties, skills and passions. This group of professionals, from locksmiths and plumbers to painters, electricians and HVAC specialists, maintain our state-of-the-art facilities and help make sure HSS runs effectively – and efficiently.

Housekeeping is more than simply making sure we make a good first impression – it’s also about ensuring the comfort and safety of each patient, visitor and staff member. From wiping down medical equipment and safely removing medical waste to tidying up common areas and cleaning patient rooms, you’ll be providing our patients with the clean and welcoming environment they need to relax and heal.
