I was in excruciating pain from the knee caps bones rubbing with no cartilage left. Then came Dr. Mark Figgie from HSS who performed a successful bilateral total knee replacement surgery and gave me hope and great care. I had a beautiful room on the 8th floor, with a great view of Manhattan and the staff was so attentive and encouraging, helping me to walk with good physical therapy. I was able to walk normally, painless and was able to drive after 7 weeks.
