Ted Klaube

I've been a patient of an HSS rheumatologist for over 20 years, being treated for psoriatic arthritis. As a result of playing college football at the U of Maryland, I've had a series of knee injuries, which resulted in numerous surgeries over the years (7 total). My range of motion in both my legs became a major issue. I'm 64 years old and still live a very active life. I am an avid outdoorsman and participate in many activities such as hiking, biking, and my favorite, fly fishing. I also go to the gym regularly. The last few years I became unable to partake in these exercises because of the issues with my knees. My rheumatologist recommended Dr. Haas for bilateral knee replacement surgery. The surgery was performed on February 14, 2018. It's been one year since the operation and my recovery is remarkable. ALL the pain is gone and I'm able to participate in all of my favorite activities. Dr. Haas and his support team were remarkable. Also, the staff at HSS are true professionals. The entire experience was a blessing and I can't thank Dr. Haas and his crew enough!!!!!!
