After years of chronic, debilitating arthritis knee pain that was impacting my quality of life in too many ways, I decided to consider knee replacement surgery. After consulting with Dr. Buly I made the life changing decision to have bilateral total knee replacement surgery in June 2015. My experience at HSS was tremendous. The surgical staff, nursing care and physical therapy team were all special. My pain was carefully managed and my PT progress was steady. After a summer of rigorous PT I was back coaching football and teaching a full course load. The next spring I was back on the tennis court and golf course, hiking, walking the dog for five miles a day and enjoying a new life. I haven't felt this young in over ten years. Life is good.
