About Dr. Cooke
Dr. Paul M. Cooke is a board certified physiatrist at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York specializing in the non-operative care of spine, sports, and musculoskeletal injuries.
He has served as an Attending Physiatrist at Hospital for Special Surgery since completing his fellowship training at HSS in 2000. He is also Assistant Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. His clinical interests include non-surgical nonsurgical spine care, sports medicine, regenerative medicine and image-guided injection procedures.
Dr. Cooke completed his undergraduate studies at Princeton University where he was a pitcher on the baseball team, followed by graduation from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He completed residency training in the specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation also at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School where he served as academic chief resident. He then pursued advanced training with a fellowship in Physiatry Spine and Sports Medicine at Hospital for Special Surgery.
