George Yusuff is an Exercise Physiologist on the Sports Rehabilitation and Performance team at HSS. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Adelphi University, where he was also a member of the soccer team. He went on to complete his Master’s degree at Adelphi University, serving as a Graduate Assistant and receiving the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in Graduate Exercise Science. George is a Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine and also holds an English FA Level 1 Soccer Coaching certification. He has experience across a wide range of areas within exercise physiology, including metabolic testing, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, fitness and performance assessment, and the development of individualized exercise and training programs.
He has worked with a diverse range of populations, including professional athletes as well as individuals with cardiovascular, metabolic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions. George also has a strong interest in research, with previous experience as a research coordinator and CPET technician on multiple studies. He is passionate about helping athletes achieve their goals and optimize performance, while also empowering clients through education and exercise to support long-term health and longevity.
