About Dr. Prior
Dr. Melanie Prior is a primary care pediatrician at Hospital for Special Surgery. After receiving both her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Michigan, Dr. Prior completed a general pediatrics residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill-Cornell. She is passionate about clinical care and patient education, working collaboratively with families to optimize a child's perioperative experience.
Dr. Prior is an Assistant Attending at HSS and also holds the academic title of Assistant Professor in Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College, where she continues to mentor pediatric residents.
