About Dr. Weng
Dr. Ashley Weng is an Attending Neurologist at the Hospital for Special Surgery, where she provides specialized care for patients with neuromuscular disorders, including myopathy, neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, and many other conditions that may present as weakness or numbness. She performs nerve conduction studies, needle EMG, and Botox. In addition to her expertise in neuromuscular medicine, she also treat a broad range of general neurological conditions such as neck pain, back pain, and headaches.
Dr. Weng earned her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2017, completed her neurology residency at Tufts Medical Center, and pursued advanced fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology/EEG at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell, followed by a second fellowship in neuromuscular medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Prior to joining the Hospital for Special Surgery, she was Assistant Professor of Neurology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She is board certified in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology, and board eligible in Neuromuscular Medicine.
