HSS Osteoarthritis Program

Osteoarthritis, the most common form of arthritis, is a degenerative joint disease that affects millions of people around the world every day. The HSS Osteoarthritis (OA) Program is for people who think they may have knee osteoarthritis and are seeking care, or who have already been diagnosed with knee OA. If you believe you have OA or would like to learn more about the condition, please visit our osteoarthritis condition page which goes over diagnosis, symptoms, treatment options and X-ray images.

Our healthcare providers include physicians, surgeons, physical therapists, exercise physiologists, physician assistants and a nurse practitioner. The program includes education and support to help you better understand and improve your symptoms and overall health. Our team will work with you to outline your needs and help you meet your goals.

Lifestyle Medicine

Those diagnosed with OA may benefit from a coordinated team-based approach to healthcare called lifestyle medicine. Our team will assess each individual and make recommendations.
