Patient Case History: Claudia
Ankle Distraction and Osteotomy for Arthritis and Deformity
Pre-Op
Patient Surgeon: S. Robert Rozbruch
Claudia had ankle trauma that resulted in post-traumatic arthritis and varus deformity. She experienced pain and stiffness.

Post-Op
We performed a distal tibia and fibula osteotomy to correct the varus deformity ... and a simultaneous ankle distraction for the arthritis.

Follow-Up
Two years later, she has minimal pain, good mobility ... and a much wider joint space on x-ray.
